With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Louis Storck Jr. of Hawthorne, New Jersey, born in Jersey City, New Jersey, who passed away on September 2, 2022 at the age of 78. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was loved and cherished by many people including : his daughters, Colleen Amaro (Angel) of Frisco, TX and Eileen Storck of Hawthorne; and his grandchild Brielle Diaz.

“Dear Storck Family: I am so sorry to hear of Lou's passing. In 1998-1999. I was trying out for the snare drum section for the Hawthorne Caballeros. Lou was so encouraging and spoke with me after the Sunday practices stating that if I did not make the drum line, I could go into the pit or alumni section. He was so kind and a great mentor, what a wonderful man!! I have many fond memories of him, I would drive to NJ from RI every Sunday to participate and he made it all worth it. Joseph Almeida Jr.”
