He was predeceased by: his wife Phyllis Conte; his son Richard Conte; and his brother James Conte. He is survived by: his son James Conte (Tiziana) of Hawthorne; his grandchildren, Kristen Conte of Bloomingdale and James Conte (Irina) of Wanaque; his great grandchild Lily; and his sister Angelina Vande Velde. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
