He was predeceased by: his parents, Elnora Nightingale and Christian Nightingale; and his siblings, Christian Nightingale, Florence Allwood, Elnora DeRitter (Eleanor), Shirley Howard, Sarah Koniecki (Sally) and Jean Schroter.
He is survived by: his wife Carol Nightingale; his daughters, Cheryl Bennett (Ray) of Hawthorne, Rhonda Vreeland (Jeff) of Midland Park and Jennifer Geisler (Mike) of New Paltz, NY.; and his sister Dorothy Sikkema (William) of Florida. He is also survived by loving nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the New Jersey Rett Syndrome Association (NJRSA).
