We are sad to announce that on April 25, 2024, at the age of 76, Betty Lou Carter (Hillsborough, New Jersey), born in Somerville, New Jersey passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

In the tapestry of our lives, her presence is woven into the fabric of our fondest memories, a gentle reminder of the impact Betty Lou has had on our hearts.

She was predeceased by : her husband Robert Carter. She is survived by : her daughter Rachel Smith (Chris) of Hillsborough; her grandchildren, Liam and Delaney of Hillsborough; and her sister Janice Coil (James) of Farmington Utah.

Visitation was held on Sunday, April 28th 2024 from 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the Hillsborough Funeral Home (796 US-206, Hillsborough Township, NJ 08844). A funeral service was held on Sunday, April 28th 2024 at 5:00 PM at the same location.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to the Alzheimer's Association of New Jersey, honoring Betty Lou's memory and supporting ongoing research to find a cure for this debilitating disease.
