It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Patricia M Bates (Hillsborough, New Jersey), born in Brooklyn, New York, who passed away on October 11, 2023, at the age of 94, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by : her parents, William McCarthy and Annette Morrell McCarthy (Nettie); and her daughter Donna Bates. She is survived by : her children, Michael Bates (Susan) of Ohio, Paul Bates (Michele) of North Carolina, Patricia Bates Smith (Peter) of New Jersey, George W. Bates, Jr. (Rose) of New Jersey and Richard Bates (Ann) of New Jersey; her sister Margaret (Peggy); her children, Margaret and Robert (RJ); her grandchildren, Lisa, Andrew, Jennifer, Richard, Matthew, Lauren, Kevin, Sean Lindsey, Lexi, Ian and Brianna; her great grandchildren, Lincoln, Georgia, Ava, Richard, Elizabeth, Alaina, June, Iris, Luna, Cameron and Riley; and also Robert (late Bobby). She is also survived by many other nieces and nephews.
