He was predeceased by: his parents, Eileen Cunningham and Laurence Fitzgerald; his stepmother Helen Fitzgerald; his sister-in-law Joanie Fitzgerald; and his stepson Ron Clark.
He is survived by: his wife Janet Fitzgerald; his stepdaughters, Sharon and Louise; his daughter-in-law Denise; his grandsons, Ryan and Matthew; and his brothers, Larry, John (Marilyn) and Tommy (Lynnette).
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, June 17th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Oakland Memorial (330 Ramapo Valley Rd, Oakland, NJ 07436). A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, June 17th 2025 from 6:30 PM to 7:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that a donation be made to the Ramapo-Bergen Animal Refuge, Inc. in Oakland, NJ.
