With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Margaret Furmato of Hillsdale, New Jersey, born in Jersey City, New Jersey, who passed away on August 5, 2025 at the age of 91. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As we bid farewell to this luminous soul, let her loved ones carry forward the torch of her memory, illuminating the path ahead with the warmth of her love and the brilliance of her spirit. She was predeceased by: her husband Joseph Furmato; her son Paul Furmato; her granddaughter Maggie DeBenedictis; and her parents, Joseph Vicari and Theresa Vicari.
She is survived by: her children, Joseph Furmato, Jr. (Mary) of Point Pleasant, Carol Debenedictis (Andrew) of Point Pleasant, Jill Keough (James) of Point Pleasant and Mark Furmato of Howell. She is also survived by 11 grandchildren; and 7 great-grandchildren.
