He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, John Wassman and Marie DeFranco; his wife Nona Rimmer; his children, John Wassman, Mary Ann Soto, Barbara Madorma, Thomas Wassman and Susan Cruz; and his grandchildren, John Jr. (Alexandra Wassman), Chris Soto, Vincent (Lauren Madorma), Thomas Jr. (Cecilia Wassman), Reanna (Antonio Cruz) and Ariel Pascual. He was also cherished by children and grandchildren.
