It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Emilio Amato of Hopatcong, New Jersey, who passed away on July 2, 2020, at the age of 85, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Giovanni Amato and Eleanora Amato; and his brother Mario Amato. He is survived by: his wife Maria; his children, Eleanor Leonard, Johnny Amato, Roseann Schult, Michele Tremblay and Anthony Amato; his grandchildren, Joseph Leonard, John Michael Leonard, Amy Leonard, Rose Marie Schult, Ronald Schult, Ryan Tremblay and Anthony Amato; his great grandchildren, Cayden Reid and Joseph Leonard; and his siblings, Giovina Uva, Clara Turchi and Salvatore Amato. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins and dear friends.
