She was predeceased by : her parent Edna Owens; her husband John Cartwright; her daughter Diane Lynn Cartwright; her sister Gladice; and her brother-in-law Frank Polacek.

She is survived by : her parent Robert Owens; her daughter-in-law John Cartwright; her great grandchildren, Rafa Lam of Austin, TX and Alesandra Lam of Austin, TX; her nieces and nephews, Joyce Jon Foure, Chris Nizzardo and Anglo Nizzardo; and also, Lillian Cartwright of Hopewell, Cliff Polacek of New York, Eric Munoz, Clarisse Lam and Ranger Lam.
