It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Joan Marie Chown in Jamesburg, New Jersey, born in Jersey City, New Jersey, who passed away on May 6, 2021, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her husband Richard J.; her daughter Christine Gaskill; and her sister Merrie Johnson. She is survived by: her children, Suzanne Dell of Jamesburg, Stephanie Olexson of Gillette, NJ, Jeanette Santoro (Keith) of South River and Richard (Martha) of Leominster, MA; her brother William "Bill" Leuchten (Joyce) of Mountain Lakes, NJ; her grandchildren, Kate Skorb, Alex Chown, Zachary Gaskill, Ryan, Samantha, Bridget Olexson, Morgan, Cameron and Mackenzie Santoro; and her great grandchildren, Addison, Quinn Colas, Nora, Claire Skorb and Hazel Chacon.
