She was predeceased by: her husband John A. Prata; and her brothers, Petro, Marion, Metro and Michael.
She is survived by: her daughters, Margaret Prata-Byrne (Michael), Amy Boothby (George), Elizabeth Lustbader (Andrew) and Joan Prata (David Vincent). She is also survived by 5 grandchildren, 1 great-grandson, niece and nephew.
A private memorial ceremony of life and Catholic blessing will be held and in lieu of flowers please consider making a donation in Sophie's memory to any of the following charities as Humanitarian aid to Ukraine: Unicef, Doctors Without Borders/Médecins Sans Frontieres (MSF) or Catholic Relief Services.
