He was predeceased by: his parents, John Gross and Tilly; his siblings, Dorothy E. Bruno, Eleanor Reeder and Tony Gross; and his daughter Katherine Gross.
He is survived by: his wife Helen T. Marino; his daughters, Dianne Heitzman, Tina Fontana (Mark) and Kelly Vela (Matt); his great grandchildren, Marissa Fontana, Casey Fontana (Phil Demers), Jaime Byrne, Courtney Lombardo (Tristen) and Christina Zahn (Mike); Silas and Aria.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, October 8th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Bermingham Funeral Home (216 S Main St, Wharton, NJ 07885). A prayer will be held on Thursday, October 9th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A burial will be held on Thursday, October 9th 2025 at the Locust Hill Cemetery (168 N Sussex St, Dover, NJ 07801).
In lieu of flowers, donations in Carl's name to the American Cancer Society or the American Legion Post 245 toward its current reconstruction would be appreciated.
