It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Russell Hollister of Jefferson Township, New Jersey, born in Irvington, New Jersey, who passed away on October 28, 2025, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. He is survived by: his wife Eleanor M. Bald Hollister; his children, Susan Priore of Hopatcong, NJ, Nancy Garbarino (Charlie) of Bangor, PA and James Hollister (Kimberly Killmer Hollister) of Denville, NJ.; and his sister Joyce Hollister Baker of Saylorsville, PA..
Visitation will be held on Monday, November 3rd 2025 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Bermingham Funeral Home (216 S Main St, Wharton, NJ 07885). A funeral Mass will be held on Tuesday, November 4th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Our Lady Star of the Sea Church (204 Espanong Rd, Lake Hopatcong, NJ 07849). A repast will be held on Tuesday, November 4th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the Stone Water (125 NJ-181, Lake Hopatcong, NJ 07849).
