She is survived by: her children, Dr. Rajani Thangavelu, K. Suresh and Kumar Kunjithapatham; her daughters-in-law, Bharathi Ramesh and Uma Suresh; her grandchildren, Thara "Shakti Thara" Thangavelu, Geetha Sridhar, Sukanya Ramesh, Priya Ramesh and Navin Kumar; her great grandchildren, Sahanav Ramesh, Sandhya Sridhar and Vimarsha Ramesh; her granddaughters, Nisha Kumar and Nicky Roy; her nephews, Sundar, Mohan and Sivakumar; Neela Susheel Kumar.
Viewing was held on Tuesday, September 23rd 2025 from 12:00 PM to 12:30 PM at the Riotto Funeral Home & Cremation (14 Stagg St, Jersey City, NJ 07306). A prayer was held on Tuesday, September 23rd 2025 from 12:30 PM to 2:00 PM at the same location. Visitation was held on Tuesday, September 23rd 2025 at 4:00 PM and at 6:30 PM.
