In loving memory of James Anthony Althaus of Jersey City, New Jersey, born in Bronx, New York, who departed this world on June 18, 2025 at the age of 43. In the vast expanse of eternity, James Anthony shall find rest, cradled in the arms of everlasting peace. And as we bid James Anthony farewell, his loved ones carry with them the precious gift of his memory, a beacon of hope guiding them through the shadows of sorrow towards the light of a new dawn.
He is survived by: his parents, James Althaus and Maureen Ghent; his son Edison Althaus; his sisters, Christina Althaus and Nicole Walsh; his brother-in-law Kevin Walsh; and his nieces, Kristen Meadows, Molly Walsh and Annie Walsh. He is also survived by his stepsisters, numerous cousins, aunts, and uncles.
Visitation will be held on Friday, June 27th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Gray Memorial Funeral Home - Cranford (12 Springfield Ave, Cranford, NJ 07016).
