She was predeceased by: her parents, Carmen Santana Valdez and Jose Valdez; and her brothers, Lino Santana and Rafael Santana. She is survived by: her children, Jean Carlos Mejia and Janire Mejia; her granddaughters, Nova Devera and Charlotte Mejia; and her siblings, Carmen Santana, Conrado Santana, Julio Santana and Yolanda Santana. She is also survived by loving extended family including nieces, nephews, in-laws, and many dear friends.
Visitation was held on Monday, May 12th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 10:00 PM at the Riotto Funeral Home & Cremation (3205 John F. Kennedy Blvd, Jersey City, NJ 07306). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, May 13th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the same location. A funeral Mass was held on Tuesday, May 13th 2025 at 11:30 AM at the Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Church (99 Broadway, Jersey City, NJ 07306). A burial was held on Tuesday, May 13th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Arlington Cemetery (748 Schuyler Ave, Kearny, NJ 07032).
