Louis I. Squitieri Obituary
We are sad to announce that on September 21, 2018, at the age of 62, Louis I. Squitieri (Jersey City, New Jersey) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parent Rose Merola Squitieri. He is survived by: his parent Luigi Squitieri; his children, Daniel Squitieri, Christina Squitieri and Carol Fischer Squitieri (Wayne Kushnir); his children-in-law, Jenn and Akmare; his grandchildren, Shartese, Dean, Lydia Rose, Layla and Amaar; his sibling Olimpia Squitieri Reed; his husband Paul; his nieces and nephews, Keith (Eva), Gina Reed and Emma Reed; and also Meg Sweeney.
Da Sistas of Clerk Street and last but definitely not least 'The DiGioia Sistas" and his adored dance partner Janet Levis Cymbor. We are grateful to the DaVita Renal Center, its nurses and technicians for becoming an extended family to Lou and making his long days of treatment bearable. Louis was pre-deceased by his beloved "Auntie" Fannie Merola & all his parents' other siblings whom he loved dearly. Visitation is Wednesday, 2:00 - 8:00pm at Greenville Memorial Home, 374 Danforth Ave., Jersey City. Everyone will meet at St Henry's Church, corner Ave. C & West 29th St., Bayonne on Thursday for 10:45am Mass. Cremation Rosehill Crematory, Linden, NJ. Louis' ashes will be inurned in the Chapel of Roses at Rosehill Columbarium. Linden, near his parents & brother-in-law at the convenience of the family. No viewing at Funeral Home on day of Funeral morning. Please omit flowers.
