She was predeceased by: her parent Phulmania; and her siblings, Deonaraine "Budda" Jaikaran and Rajdai Dookie. She is survived by: her sons, Vijay Sammy and Steven Narine; her daughter-in-law Seelochnie Sammy; her grandchildren, Alexander, Mellisa, Angelica and Aaron Sammy; and her sisters, Sahadai "Pearly" James and Chamranie "Ruby" Persaud. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, October 29th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM and on Thursday, October 30th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the Patrick J. Conte Funeral Home, Inc. (274 Market St, Elmwood Park, NJ 07407). A funeral service will be held on Friday, October 31st 2025 at 8:30 AM at the same location.
