He is survived by: his son Ian Gassert of Keansburg; his stepdaughter Lauren Lewis of Keyport; his brothers, Vincent Gassert of Smithville, NY and Stephen; and his sister-in-law Missy Gassert of McDonough, NY. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews and many loving extended family and friends.
