It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Evelyn Zemietra of Kearny, New Jersey, born in New York, New York, who passed away on March 25, 2024, at the age of 74, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by : her son John Zemietra, Jr.; and her brother Spyro Kabitsis. She is survived by : her husband John Zemietra; her daughters, Eva Riena (Richard) and Theresa Zinna; her sister Peggy Anacker; her daughter-in-law Deborah Zemietra; and her grandchildren, Alyssa Zemietra, Michael Zinna, Colton and Garrick Riena.

In lieu of flowers the family suggests contributions to the Diabetes Foundation.
