She was predeceased by: her husband William Wheatley Sr. of Wheatley's Exxon; her parents, William Poling Sr. and Della Poling (Divitz); her son-in-law Harold Mathews; and her siblings, Genevieve Barrett (Eugene), Stanley Poling (Jean) and William Poling.
She is survived by: her children, JoAnn Buonomo (Richard) of Red Bank, William Wheatley Jr. of Manchester, John Wheatley (Kelly Kinsel) and Linda Mathews of Portsmouth; her grandchildren, Erica Disner (Jonathan), Jenna Stevens (Ryan), Kryssa Lambert (Andrew), Rickie Buonomo, Justin Mathews, Emily Wheatley and Ryan Wheatley; and her great grandchildren, Logan Stevens, Rylan Disner, Wheatley Disner, Lexi Lambert and Ethan Lambert.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, July 27th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Monday, July 28th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 10:45 AM at the Day Funeral Home (361 Maple Pl, Keyport, NJ 07735). A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Monday, July 28th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 11:45 AM at the Our Lady of Fatima Parish (376 Maple Pl, Keyport, NJ 07735). A graveside service will be held on Monday, July 28th 2025 from 11:45 AM to 12:00 PM at the St. Joseph Cemetery.
