With solemn reverence, we commemorate Carl C. Rest of Bethlehem, Pennsylvania, whose life came to an end on October 4, 2025 at the age of 83, leaving behind cherished memories. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Anna Rest and Karl Rest; and his sons, William Henry and Leo Patrick. He is survived by: his wife Margaret Rest; and his children, Carl Rest (Wei), Frieda Opielski (Brian), Annamarie Dardaris (Doug), Margaret Loughery (Doug) and Lena Beaven (Robert). He is also survived by grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Friday, October 10th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Saturday, October 11th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 9:45 AM at the Day Funeral Home (361 Maple Pl, Keyport, NJ 07735). A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Saturday, October 11th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 10:45 AM at the Our Lady of Fatima Parish (376 Maple Pl, Keyport, NJ 07735). A burial will be held on Saturday, October 11th 2025 at the St. Joseph's Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to St. Jude's Children's Research Hospital.
