We are sad to announce that on January 17, 2022, at the age of 90, Dorothy (Dottie) Alice Mendes of Kinnelon, New Jersey, born in Newark, New Jersey passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was loved and cherished by many people including : her husband John F. Mendes; her parents, Joseph F. Deighan and Dorothy Deighan (Emch); her sons, Andy, John F. Mendes Jr. (Sandy) of Daytona Beach, FL, Tom Mendes (Christine Finley) of Waterbury Center, VT and Andrew Mendes (Francis) of Poulsbo, Washington.; her grandchildren, Julie Klemond (Tom), Paul Beaudoin, Johnny Mendes (Terry), Shawn Mendes (Kristina), Kattie Long (Rick), Annie Mendes and Jillian Mendes; and her great grandchildren, Jake Griffith, Josh Griffith, Natalie Klemond, Melanie Klemond, Kevin Klemond, Malia Mendes, Tabitha Mendes, Braxton Mendes and Trystan Long.
