She was predeceased by: her parents, Frederick Canavan and Esther Canavan (Buckley); and her siblings, Frederick, John, Peter, David, Robert Canavan and Esther Canavan Shields.
She is survived by: her friend Sister Marilyn Thie. She is also survived by nieces and nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews, greatgreat-nieces and great-great-nephews, cousins, and cherished friends.
Visitation was held on Monday, September 8th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Tuesday, September 9th 2025 from 9:30 AM to 11:00 AM at the Holy Family Chapel (2 Convent Rd, Convent Station, NJ 07961). A Mass of Christian burial was held on Tuesday, September 9th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Tuesday, September 9th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 12:30 PM at the Holy Family Cemetery Convent Road Convent.
