John Paul Connolly Obituary

We bid farewell to John Paul Connolly of Lake Hopatcong, New Jersey, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on October 31, 2025 at the age of 93. John Paul touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. Though his name may fade from the lips of time, the imprint John Paul leaves upon the hearts of his loved ones remains eternally vivid — a testament to the depth of his spirit and the richness of his legacy.

He was predeceased by: his parents, John Connolly and Mabel Connolly; and his wife Barbara Ann Connolly. He is survived by: his children, Sean Connolly (Sherry) and Beth Ann Higgins (Scott); and his grandchildren, Ryan Connolly (Caitlin), Justin Connolly, Connor Higgins and Kelsey Higgins.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, November 6th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Whitham-Kanapaux Funeral Home (20 Keller Ave, Rockaway, NJ 07866). A Mass will be held on Friday, November 7th 2025 at 9:30 AM at the St. Mary's Church (15 Myers Ave, Denville, NJ 07834).
