We are sad to announce that on October 19, 2025, at the age of 83, John C Strouse Jr. of Lakewood, New Jersey, born in Brooklyn, New York passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Joyce Strouse; his sons, John Strouse (Enza) and Joel Strouse; his grandchildren, Alyssa, Jonathan and Concetta; his sisters, Lillian Bresnahan, Lucille Mandile and Linda Seekatz; Brooks.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 23rd 2025 from 12:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Oliverie Funeral Home (2925 Ridgeway Rd, Manchester Township, NJ 08759). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, October 23rd 2025 at 3:30 PM at the same location. A burial will be held on Friday, October 24th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Green-Wood Cemetery (500 25th St, Brooklyn, NY 11218).

In lieu of flowers please make donations to St Jude Children's Research Hospital 501 St Jude Place Memphis, TN 38105.

“I am so sorry to hear about John. I worked at The Enclave last year for 3 years and got to know and love John. He would often come into the clubhouse for help with something or just to tell his jokes. His favorite was definitely the man who bought the "talking centipede" joke! My condolences to his entire family! May he rest in peace! I'll miss you, John!!”
