Josephine A. Palumbo Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Josephine A. Palumbo of Lakewood, New Jersey, born in Newark, New Jersey, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on October 26, 2025 at the age of 88. Though Josephine may no longer walk beside us, her memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Josephine touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In her absence, her spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
She was predeceased by: her husband Robert L. Palumbo; her parents, Michael Piccininno and Anna Piccininno; and her sister Angela Tucci (Donald). She is survived by: her sibling's children, Donald M. Tucci (Lisa Giordano) and Lori Ann Sedaille (Dennis).
Visitation was held on Thursday, October 30th 2025 from 9:30 AM to 10:30 AM at the Shook's Cedar Grove Funeral Home (486 Pompton Ave, Cedar Grove, NJ 07009). A funeral Mass was held on Thursday, October 30th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the St. Catherine of Siena RC Church (339 Pompton Ave, Cedar Grove, NJ 07009). A burial was held on Thursday, October 30th 2025 at the Gate of Heaven Cemetery (225 Ridgedale Ave, East Hanover, NJ 07936).
