With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Rosa Mercado of Lakewood, New Jersey, who passed away on October 5, 2025 at the age of 89. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband Pedro. She is survived by: her children, Enrique Mercado (Zulma) of Toms River, Beatrice Yurasits (David) of Toms River and Rosita Mercado (Angelo Leo) of Toms River; her grandchildren, Melissa, Melinda, Michael, Michelle and Bianca; her great grandchildren, Sophia, James, Charlie and Lilliana; and her siblings, Eduardo Bermudez (Neriada), Gloria Bermudez and Hector Cruz.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, October 14th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the D'Elia Funeral Home (1300 Vermont Ave, Lakewood, NJ 08701). A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, October 15th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the Church of Saint Anthony Claret (780 Ocean Ave, Lakewood, NJ 08701). A committal service will be held on Wednesday, October 15th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Brigadier General William C. Doyle Memorial Cemetery (350 Province Line Rd, Wrightstown, NJ 08562).
