He was predeceased by: his parents, Homer Bowen Wilcox Jr. and Elizabeth Nichols Evans; his stepparents, Edna Wilcox and Nathaniel Evans; his wife Judith Schmidgall Stein; and his niece Laura Wilcox.

He is survived by: his siblings, Paul Nichols Wilcox (Amanda) of Penn Valley, CA, Robert Bowen Wilcox (Leah) of Columbia County, NY, Thomas Wilcox of Lawrenceville, NJ, Caren Wilcox of Washington, DC and Elizabeth Evans (Jeanne) of Bethany, CT; and his friend Ann Kyllingstad of Yardley, PA. He is also survived by many nephews and nieces.
