He is survived by: his wife Mercedes (Diaz); his children, Angelica Melendez-Castaneda, Johana Cataneda, Alex Castaneda and Christian Castaneda; his siblings, Carlos, Tito, Leisa, Edgar and Patricia; and his grandchildren, Anthony, Juancamilo, Gizelle, Milania, Jocelyn, Angelina, Andrew, Thiago and Luciano.
Visitation will be held on Friday, August 8th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Leber-Lakeside Funeral Home (150 Landing Rd, Landing, NJ 07850). A prayer will be held on Saturday, August 9th 2025 at 9:30 AM at the same location. A burial will be held on Saturday, August 9th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the First Presbyterian Church Cemetery (99 Main St, Succasunna, NJ 07876).
