He was predeceased by: his parents, Ismael Santiago and Augustina Riveria Santiago; his brother Jose Santiago; and his sister-in-law Maria L Santiago. He is survived by: his wife Ana H. Ortiz Santiago; his daughter Cecilia Santiago Peters; his son-in-law Richard Peters; his sons, Jose A. (Patricia Santiago), Juan C. (Kristen Santiago) and Hector L. (Ewa Santiago); his grandchildren, Megan (Brodie), Christopher, Stephanie, Christina (Min), Gabrielle (Tyler), Harrison, Juliana and Gavin; and his brothers, Ismael Santiago Jr. and Ismael Santiago. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews and cousins.
