She was predeceased by : her parents, Patrick J. Corcoran and Nora Corcoran (Tuhey); her husband Joseph J. Dignan II; her daughter Colleen Marie Dignan; her daughter-in-law Donna Becker Dignan; and her sister Catherine A. Fowler.

She is survived by : her children, Joseph J. Dignan III of Red Bank, NJ, Patrick C. Dignan of Glen Ridge, NJ and Serena Dignan Fisher (Andrew) of Philadelphia, PA; her grandchildren, Justin P., Cameron B. Dignan and Michael Dignan Fisher; and her brothers, John P. Corcoran (Kathleen) of Barnegat, NJ and James P. Corcoran of Naples, FL..

In lieu of flowers, charitable contributions may be made to the Preeclampsia Foundation at preeclampsia.org.
