He was predeceased by: his parents, Mario Blechman and Norma Blechman. He is survived by: his wife Maria Blechman; his daughters, Melanie Padilla (Eric), Stephanie Blechman Pathak (Sanket) and Amy Lawrence (Ben); his grandchildren, Belvie Lawrence and Eric Padilla Jr.; his pets, Ellie, Olivia and Barkley; and his sister Judith Blechman (Maria).
