He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert High and Edna High (Sazlein); and his brother Robert High. He is survived by: his wife Betty E. High (Ramirez); his son Sean High; and his sisters, Carol Forger (Don), Kathy Yulke (Dave), Joan Jerome, Jean Petroglia (Joseph), Diane DePrimo (Salvatore) and Eileen MacNamara (James). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
