He is survived by: his children, Helene Dakar (Nizar Alkouraan), Raymond Dakar (Mariam) and Peter Dakar (Maud); his grandchildren, Mary, Nelly Alkouraan, Albert, Litsa and Edmund; his brother Edmond Dakar (Virginie); and his nieces, Maya, Lina and Maha.
