She was predeceased by: her parents, Mary Derickson and William Derickson; and her sister Donna Herring. She is survived by: her sons, John Hammond III of Texas and Travis Kennedy of Florida; her siblings, Dr. Jennifer (James) of Kentucky, Michael Derickson (Heidi) of California and Roger Derickson (Virginia) of New Jersey; and her grandchildren, Sydney and John Turner Hammond. She is also survived by family members and friends.
