She was predeceased by: her parents, Ethel Gilbert and Peter Mewborn; and her siblings, Missionary Shirley Chapman, Royce Gilbert, William Earl Gilbert, Wilbert Ellison and Marvin Green.
She is survived by: her siblings, Deloris Mason (Mike), Bobby Gilbert (Bessie) of New Haven, CT and Woodrow Gilbert (Helen); her cousin Glenda Cannon; and her close friends, Mother Harper, Ann Parker, Clara Gary and Terri Whitaker. She is also survived by nieces, nephews and friends.
