He was predeceased by: his parents, David J. Phillips and Erma R. Phillips. He is survived by: his wife Barbara Gaffey Phillips; his children, David J. Phillips, III, Jennifer L. Phillips and Timothy W. Phillips; his granddaughter Ava Velotti; his sister Martha; his brother-in-law Jim Rogers; his brother Robert; his sister-in-law Sue Phillips; and his siblings' children, Thomas Rogers, John Rogers, Judith Stebbins and Lauren Phillips.
