It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Betty Mae Genoese of Madison, New Jersey, who passed away on July 14, 2020, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, John Crawford and Jennie Gray Crawford. She is survived by: her husband Joseph Genoese of Madison; her children, Dominick "Nick" Genoese (Sylvia) of Boca Raton, FL, Denise Barretti (Joseph) of Whippany, Val Friedman (David) of Madison, Jodi Hopkinson (Willy) of Avon and Liz Urbina (Oscar) of Apex, NC; her grandchildren, AJ Ellis (Renee), Jennie Walters (Donnie), Anthony Barretti (Caroline), Alessandra Barretti (Mike), David Friedman II, Jared Friedman, Jessica Barretti (Doug), Ashley Genoese, Nicholas Genoese, Will Hopkinson, Cait Hopkinson and Abbie Urbina; and her great grandchildren, DJ, Tyler, Cole, Georgia and Lily. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and dear friends.
