It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Brent L. Tappen (Madison, New Jersey), born in East Orange, New Jersey, who passed away on December 15, 2019, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his wife Margaret A. Tappen (Davidson); and his brother Eugene R. Tappen, III. He is survived by: his children, Jean A. Force (William) of Cedar Knolls, NJ, Richard B. Tappen (David Barkin) of Madison, NJ, Kathleen M. Matyus (Dennis) of Roswell, GA, William R. Tappen of Nesquehoning, PA and Edward M. Tappen (Elizabeth) of Wharton, NJ.; his grandchildren, Jennifer S. Hart (Thomas), Caitlin E. Force, Aileen R. Force (Joseph Moldow), Colin Matyus and Bryna Morton (Eric); and his great grandchildren, Brayden Hart and Rylan Hart. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
