She was predeceased by: her husband Herbert William Woodson Sr.; her sister Annie Valentine; her daughter Jennifer Lyle; and her parents, Nocho Whitted and Clorena Whitted.

She is survived by: her sons, Herbert William Woodson Jr., David Wayne Woodson (Sandra), John Douglas Woodson, Charles Warren Woodson and Robert Ashley Woodson (DeAdrienne); her grandchildren, Dana Lyle and Corey Wayne Woodson; her great grandchildren, Michael Stephan Irving, Richard Thomas Irving, Ananda Kahleigh Ratliff and Kayden David Woodson; and her great great grandchildren, Rayne Nila Irving, Amari Khapri Irving, Khalil Amir Williams, Amira Kahleigh Rutland and Jhane Sky Irving. She is also survived by extended family, and many dear friends.
