Mantone Sr. (Madison, New Jersey), born in Morristown, New Jersey, who passed away on April 2, 2020, at the age of 90, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Samuel Mantone and Emilia Mantone; his wife Lareida "Rita" Mantone; his son Louis Mantone, Jr.; his brothers, Joseph Mantone and Samuel "Jiggs" Mantone; and his brothers-in-law, Brownee Esposito and Peter McLaughlin.
He is survived by: his daughter Linda Mantone; his grandson Jacob Shaw; his sisters, Nancy Esposito, Anna McLaughlin and Rae Slayden (Doug); his sisters-in-law, Frances Mantone and Joyce Mantone; and his siblings' children, Nicole Waldron, Sandy Mantone (Nancy Mantone), Anne Marie Davies, Carol Anne Esposito, Nancy Jean Esposito, Pat Esposito, Peter McLaughlin (Sharon McLaughlin), Amelia McLaughlin, Debbie Strambi (Steve Strambi), Sharon Delgazio (Anthony Delgazio), Jerry Mantone (Bridget Mantone), Michael Mantone (Lynn Mantone) and Samuel Mantone (Teresa Mantone).
Charitable contributions may be made in Lou's memory to Mental Health Association of Essex & Morris A Memorial Mass to celebrate the lives of Lou and Rita will be announced at a later date.
