She was predeceased by: her parents, Nicholas Stavrakis and Kyriakoula Stavrakis; her husband James Stavros; and her siblings, Peter and Maria.
She is survived by: her sons, Nicholas Stavrakis of Succasunna and William Stavrakis of Hillsborough; her brother John Stavrakis of Ios, Greece; and her grandsons, James, Anthony, Michael, Nicholas and Matthew Stavrakis.
In lieu of flowers, the family has requested that charitable contributions be made in Rita's memory to St. Andrew's Greek Orthodox Church, 1447 Sussex Turnpike, Randolph, NJ 07869.
