He was predeceased by: his parents, Nicholas and Mary Agnes Burde Sr. (Di Benedetto); his wife Constance Hamilton; and his siblings, Josephine, Palmer and Anthony.

He is survived by: his children, David Burde of Simi Valley, CA and Mary Lou Burde (George Moser) of Chester, NJ. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
