He was predeceased by: his parents, Corrado Minervini and Gilorma LaGrasta; his wife Teresa; and his brother-in-law Joseph DeVirgilio. He is survived by: his daughter Gina Minervini; his granddaughters, Brianna and Brittany Bernath; and his siblings, Vito Minervini (Irene), Sammy Minervini (Lina), Teresa O'Loughlin (John), Nicoletta DeVirgilio, Joseph Minervini (Diane) and Lucrezia Minervini (Michael). He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers the family asks that donations are made in Sergio's memory to the Alzheimer's Association.
