He is survived by: his wife Doris Sallie; his children, Robert L. James Sr. of Madison, NJ, Edward Sallie of Union, NJ, Willie Sallie Jr. of Morristown, NJ, Frederick Sallie (Teresa) of Iselin, NJ, Craig Sallie, Minister Alan Sallie (Carolyn) of Morristown, NJ, Barry Sallie (Pamela D. Sallie) of West Orange, NJ, Rosalie Sallie of Dallas, TX and Rita Sallie of West Orange, NJ; his grandchildren, Robbie, Eddie, Dionne, Ehric, Tyree, Nova, Jermaine, Raymond, Andrea, Curtiss, Ehrica, Aaron, Jared and Nala; and his sister Nora Miles of Washington, DC. He is also survived by nephews, nieces, cousins and friends.
Interment will be held privately for the family. **Visitors to the funeral home and church are asked to wear masks and practice proper social distancing.
In lieu of flowers, the family has requested that charitable contributions be made in Willie's memory to the Carol's Garden c/o The First Baptist Church, 36 Cook Ave, Madison, NJ 07940.
