With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Matthew Ryffel of Mahwah, New Jersey, who passed away on January 31, 2022 at the age of 56. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He is survived by: his wife Mary Ryffel; his mother Betty Ryffel; his nieces and nephews, Kevin, Kristin Ryffel, Maria, Matt Beck, Elizabeth, Graham Heydt, Ana and Rocco Schiaffino; his siblings, Beatriz, Karl Drehwing and John Ryffel; his nieces and nephews, Kenneth, Jennifer, Anita and Philip John; and his brother Louis Ryffel Jr..

In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the American Brain Tumor Association and the National Brian Tumor Society.
