We are sad to announce that on November 1, 2025, at the age of 73, Yvonne Beatrice of Mahwah, New Jersey passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Rosylind DeSerio and Louis DeSerio. She is survived by: her children, Michael Christopher (Carrie Beatrice) and Jenna Mary (Mark Kayal); her husband Michael J. Beatrice; her grandchildren, Luca, Julia Beatrice, Henry and Teddy Kayal; and her brother Louis (Holly DeSerio).

Visitation was held on Thursday, November 6th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Van Emburgh-Sneider-Pernice Funeral Home (109 Darlington Ave, Ramsey, NJ 07446). A funeral Mass was held on Friday, November 7th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the St. Elizabeth RC Church (700 Wyckoff Ave, Wyckoff, NJ 07481). A burial was held on Friday, November 7th 2025 at 11:45 AM at the Maryrest Cemetery (770 Darlington Ave, Mahwah, NJ 07430).

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Ms. B Foundation which will sponsor educational programming at the Mahwah Museum and Mahwah schools in Yvonne's name.

Our entire family extends our condolences. As Sarah just reminded us, Mrs. Bea was legend at Mahwah High School and beloved of her students. The Mahwah project taught those who were fortunate enough to have studied with her hands on history. RIP. The Herpst Family.”
