He was predeceased by: his wife Mary; his parents, Tobias and Benedetta; and his siblings, Rosemarie, Frances and Anthony.

He is survived by: his children, Ralph A. (Peggy), Rosemarie and Marie Elena (Stephen); his grandchildren, Thomas, Timothy, Serena and Ryan James; and his sister Ramona Purino. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
